Yukon Nvrs Titanium 2.5X50 Varmint Hunter Night Vision Riflescope

The Varmint Hunter 2.5x50 uses enhanced optics, a durable, titanium body and sleek design to separate itself from any other night vision riflescope. The Varmint Hunter incorporates a long mount into its ergonomic design to allow for more comfort during shooting while also enabling the scope to accommodate the widest range of rifles, including bolt action styles. It is also equipped with a powerful 50-Millimeter lens to provide higher resolution and light gathering capabilities, and flip-up lens covers open to reveal quality multi-coated optics and an illuminated reticle. A built-in, powerful Pulse™ infrared illuminator is easily activated to enhance image brightness and increase range in total darkness; a precision windage and elevation adjustment and remote are additional features. The Varmint Hunter is also digital camera adaptable with the digital camera accessory, other accessories include a laser pointer, AK adapter, IR flashlight and doubler lens, which are all sold separately. The Varmint Hunter is backed by Yukon’s limited lifetime warranty.

Hunt with confidence even after the sun starts to set with the Yukon Varmint Hunter 2.5x50 night vision riflescope. Equipped with enhanced optics, a durable titanium body, and a sleek ergonomic shape, the Varmint Hunter stands out from the crowd in the riflescope category. The Varmint Hunter incorporates a long mount into its ergonomic housing, helping the scope accommodate a wide range of rifles--including bolt-action styles--while also keeping you comfortable. The scope's powerful 50mm lens and multicoated optics, meanwhile, deliver brighter, higher-resolution images, so you can clearly see your prey from a distance. The scope's most glaring feature, however, is its powerful Pulse infrared illuminator, which enhances image brightness and range in total darkness. The IR illuminator lets you track a deer or rabbit in the black of night, or get an early start on your hunting without waiting for the sun to rise.
The Varmint Hunter also includes a number of riflescope essentials, including precision windage and elevation adjustments; an adjustable lit red-on-green reticle; a remote control with "on/off" and "IR on/off" settings; a flip-up objective lens cover; and a standard Weaver rail mount system. Digital camera adaptable with the use of a digital camera accessory (sold separately), the Varmint Hunter comes with an on-rifle carrying case and is backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

Safety Assessment of Wearing the AN/PVS-14 Monocular Night Vision Device (MNVD) and AN/AVS-6 Aviators' Night Vision Imaging System (ANVIS) During 5-Ton and HMMWV Night Driving

This is a ARMY RESEARCH LAB ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND MD HUMAN RESEARCH AND ENGINEERINGDIRECTORATE report procured by the Pentagon and made available for public release. It has been reproduced in the best form available to the Pentagon. It is not spiral-bound, but rather assembled with Velobinding in a soft, white linen cover. The Storming Media report number is A428104. The abstract provided by the Pentagon follows: The Human Research and Engineering Directorate of the U.S. Army Research Laboratory conducted an assessment to provide the data and analysis of the AN/PVS-14 monocular night vision device (MNVD) and the AN/AVS-6 aviator's night vision imaging system (ANVIS) for the safety certification process. The Communications-Electronics Command Directorate for Safety Risk Management, Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, will use the results of the assessment to determine the suitability of both devices for driving. The four characteristics assessed included: (a) the number and nature of training requirements for each system for night driving; (b) the time to complete and the number of errors made while drivers negotiated a hardtop driving course; (c) the time to complete and the number of errors made while drivers negotiated a cross-country driving course; (d) the number and nature of problems related to soldier performance, as well as the number and severity of safety hazards noted. The 15 soldiers who participated in the assessment drove with the AN/PVS-14, the AN/AVS-6, and the baseline system (AN/PVS-7D) in a predetermined sequence to equalize the environmental and learning effects between systems. Two different terrain driving courses were used: hardtop and cross country. The 15 soldiers were divided into two subgroups: 5-ton truck drivers and high mobility multipurpose wheeled vehicle drivers.
